Rules & other important stuff

Rules

1. Don't be a dick. Obviously it's incredibly difficult to maintain a safe space, but please think about your words and actions and how they might affect someone. Anything that might trigger someone must be warned for. Prejudiced and offensive behaviour out of character will earn you a week's ban from chat. You will always be notified of the reasons behind your ban. If the behaviour continues, you will be banned from the game.

2. No godmodeing. You cannot have a perfect character who solves everything. Do not control another character's actions. Discuss with other players any acts of violence your character might inflict upon another.

3. Relax. This game is supposed to be small and low pressure. The most important thing is to have fun.

4. If you have a problem, please leave a message in the mod's modly inbox of moderating and I will get to it.

Characters, apps and activity checks

At the moment there is a limit of five characters per person. More than that and you must either drop or temporarily npc your character.

Apps open once a month and close after a week. New characters will always be brought to the island for a reason - for example, as part of the original crash, survivors from another, stranded failed rescue crew, etc.

It is expected that for each character you make at least one post and ten comments a month. It you cannot make that activity one month and do not have a valid reason (a hiatus, or something pressing you've spoken to the mod about), you will be put on warning and will not be able to app a new character for a month.

If you miss the activity check a second time, you will be asked if anything can be done to improve your experience of the game. Mods will always offer support to players if they need it.

Format:

1. The game is primarily prose third person. It is assumed all posts are in person unless otherwise stated.

2. Tag each entry your character participates in with their name.

3. Please indicate if a post if open or closed to certain people in the subject line (ex: [open to all] or [closed to x and y])
