Hello! This is Calla Stark. And she is all Rere's fault.

She prefers being called Callie, and like Maggie below, she was on this plane to study abroad. She is the youngest of three and is originally from Maine but goes to uni in Colorado because have you met her mother? (Three guesses whom her mother is! Any you are so sad remarks can be directed to Rere.)

Callie is friendly and outgoing. She also likes adventure and fun and bending as many rules she can without being too illegal. College is a time for experimentation and fun, she believes, and she lives by that! She is for spontaneity and is rash and reckless and doesn't think as much about her decisions as her mother would like her to.

She is a Biology major. She knows first-aid and CPR, and she went camping a lot as a child. But she camps with the comfort of modern tools, so idk just how much help she will be.

In the airport/during the flight, she would have been talking to Maggie and another redhead or playing on her DS.

I think that's all?

Hello I am a Rere and this is a Maggie.

not to be confused with other maggies we have known and loved SORRY LISSA

Probably everyone knows who her parents are and if you don't, just know that this is a habit of mine.

Maggie is a junior physics major from Colorado and she will be your Professor for this three hour tour, if you ever want to make a hot dog bun toaster out of driftwood or whatever. She is the youngest of twins and she is tiny and adventurous and a complete pisser.

Her default volume is YELLING ACROSS A STADIUM but her voice is pretty reedy so it evens out. Right? Right. Right right right! She is chronically afflicted with a (GENETIC!!!! but not really) predisposition for italicsing at people.

On the flight over she could be found draped across three seats and two gingers, either asleep or trying to look out the window or whatever. They were going to study abroad!

She hates school.

Post-washing up she is suffering from a) being apart from her sister for the longest time in years and b) losing her lifelong best friend in the crash, all at once. But she is very good at feelings denial! Instead why doesn't she just help all of you with your problems! Yes.

Since it seems like this plane didn't really carry a lot of people old enough to be eligible for the US presidency, she's probably had very few problems trying to be sassybossy. And then when the day is done she drapes herself over her remaining ginger and sads when she thinks she's asleep.

So uh building a car out of coconuts let's go go go.

This is Sean! I AM APPARENTLY UNABLE TO USE A PB WHO IS NOT INVOLVED IN MUSIC IN SOME WAY.

He's played by Green but is not a dick! Nope, he is actually a really sweet guy. But, he's also lived a pretty charmed life. This is probably the first time he's had to branch out and do things for himself. Don't ever let him near the fire.

He was pretty popular and sporty in school, but that's faded now he's in the adult world. Despite the fact that he's continually trying to put a good spin on every situation he finds himself in, the fact that he's stuck doing data entry for people who hardly speak to him is a pretty significant bummer. And now his plane has crashed over the Atlantic sea or something and left him alone with a bunch of strangers...but it's cool. It'll be fun! Right?

He comes across as fairly laid back and mostly that's because he wouldn't know the phrase 'hard work' if it slapped him between the eyes. He's charming and likeable but tell him you don't like him and he'll go Leslie Knope on you he'll act like you're some kind of alien. He lives in a very narrow plane of existence and while he's always willing to learn more he knows so little anyway that nobody really knows where to start.

The line to bet on how fast he accidentally sets the camp on fire starts ---------------> over there, ty.

Hey, guys! This is Adelle.

Most of you know her, and she is pretty much the same except maybe a little less imperious and a little more casual (ie. less careful about the way she says things). Still selfish, still awful, still spoiled, and still playful and looking for whatever will entertain her. And still very much a teenager.

From Anaheim, California, you can bet Adelle went to Disneyland just about every month until she was 12. She's on her way to Australia to miss school but mostly to spend time with her brother Valentin and get away from her awful, awful step-family. (Read: they're actually pretty nice, not that Adelle would ever hear that.)

At the airport, she was on her phone or her iPad or talking to her brother, most likely! She would have been looking pleased or excited. Happy, like she was about to go on the best vacation ever.

Whoops!

After the crash, she'll be a mess of mood swings. Sorry! She's not very useful unless you make her a bow and arrows or... don't want to get lost or something. Otherwise, she can tell you if you look awful in that outfit or not. Or make over your face with salt encrusted make up, I guess.

This is Deirdre. She's a bit hard to stomach at first, but once you get used to her particular brand of cattiness, she's actually very easy going. She takes nothing seriously unless it's obvious that it HAS to be taken seriously, then she becomes the biggest hardass on the planet. If people start crying or feeling sorry for themselves when they could be of use to the group, Deirdre will shout them up and down. It's surprising, coming from someone so small and feminine, but make a comment about it and she'll only get louder and crueler.

Casually, and under better circumstances, Deirdre is fun-loving, playful (though a bit mean) and flirtatious. That side will come out in bursts on the island, but, as she's good as dead and going through a hell of a nicotine withdrawal, she'll be doing her best to avoid anything with a pulse she might be tempted to stop.

Before the flight, you might have seen her at one airport bar or another, pounding bloody marys. She was notably agitated as she texted and at one point had to stop herself from throwing her phone. Impatient and disagreeable while boarding, she calmed down once the plane took off. Then came more vodka and tomato juice.

PS: Drake, she heard what you and your fuckhead friends said about her clothes and she wants you to know that once they find the volcano, you are the first sacrifice.

This is Tegan Jones, more commonly known as Tig.

Her bearing is obviously military, and she comes with a variety of useful skills and implements that suggest the same. She hails from Essex in England, and although she can tone down and fake accents at will, she still speaks... well, like an Essex girl. Despite the military shiz, she's relatively easy to get along with so long as you're willing to pull your weight - but she doesn't suffer fools gladly. Plus, if you decide you really hate someone on the island, she could help you out there, too.

She was on the plane disguised as an air hostess in Economy, but as soon as the final alarms went off, customer service (and anyone in her way) was tossed aside in favour of digging out a myriad of bits and pieces she had stowed away in the cabin. If she got you with a fist or elbow, she'll apologise.

This is Valentin.

In short: He's here with his little sister. He's kind of a dick more often than not. He has no real survival skills to speak of.

I suspect he won't make many friends. :)

Tony Stonem Drake Chevalier.

Profile Here

An arrogant, mafia-linked elite with nearly all of the cons and very few (but worthy, once you find them) pros, Drake will first arrive on the island amid histrionics because he doesn't get along with large bodies of water. After that, life will revolve primarily around too much pride and vaunted independence whilst not actually being able to take care of himself unless it involves technology, linguistics, or animals. Can also hold his own in arguments about politics or business, but generally not very chatty. He's fluent in French and English, and conversationally comfortable with Spanish and Italian.

On the flight he and his group of equally 'elite' studenty pals were in Premium Economy (a compromise; Drake would kill someone if he had to go economy, but the other students couldn't afford First). They would have kept to themselves and probably been a little tipsy from alcohol, so apologies if they said anything nasty about your outfit or luggage when you walked through, Average Economies.

He likes: academics, trolls (and people who can take being trolled), being independent, the idea of staying on the island forever and therefore not having to face his father.
He dislikes: large bodies of water (cannot swim), any form of personal contact (touch him, lose a hand), people, having to depend on others, being dirty.

So really this is going to go very well for him.

Looking for potential friends, enemies, and everything in between.

Hello~!

This is Vincent! He is a quiet librarian who wasn't even supposed to be on this particular flight but a surprise snowstorm (woo Canadian winter-spring) held up his original flight out of The Great White North, and is also why he's overdressed for the weather. It was (will be?) his very unremarkable birthday on Tuesday, the tickets to Australia were a bribe gift from his father, so basically this is the worst birthday present ever.

Vincent is a nice guy, if rather shy and awkward. He will try to be helpful insomuch as he can. His only really relevant skills are first aid, and maybe a bit of cooking and mending.

He also has a ridiculously detailed inventory so, uh, if anyone wants to take advantage of that and go through his things, let me know?

ETA: If you saw him at the airport before they left, he was probably reading or texting someone on his phone. He probably looked a bit nervous, restless, especially going through security. He's just paranoid because of all the stories of power-happy TSA people, don't mind him and his pile of unseasonably warm clothing.

I DON'T EVEN KNOW ANYMORE all I know is that I missed playing Adam and seeing him stranded on an island could be fantastic.

Anyway, this is Adam. He's a sound technician (read: he holds heavy mics on sets and occasionally gets people coffee) from Los Angeles who was planning on having a lovely vacation in Australia. He traveled alone, sat in coach after nearly throwing up over the price of an upgrade and played mahjong for most of the flight. I apologize if you sat near him. He gets very vocal when he's winning.

Adam has a history with mental health issues, but he's off his medication now and relatively well-adjusted to daily life. That being said, he's got a slue of coping devices. As loud and vibrant as he is, his reactions can seem shallow. He feels very deeply for people but masks that with BEING FUCKING LOUD AND RIDICULOUS! When he was younger and more earnest, he scared everyone off. Clingy to the extreme, it's just best that he keeps up his persona.

Um, what else, what else. He's got a billion useless random facts at his disposal, only now maybe some of them aren't so useless! He's fascinated with animals, vegan (TEMPORARILY, SOB), hates religion, something of a polyglot and probably the most supportive person you will ever meet. Adam also rivals Mari in the Bad Ideas Department, so... never take his plans seriously.

He loves you all, really. Let him love you.

Meet Bryanna Andromeda Cook (Annie for short!), who is an entirely new character from me!

She's one of Marnie's producers. Annie, along with her younger brother Alex, her mother Krystal, and Marnie, was going to Sydney to launch her book "On Production and Prada". She's lived the hard knock life (heee), with her parents divorcing pretty early on. Annie and Alex were left with Krystal. Krystal has always been the kookie sort. Her attempts to support the children involved a gig as a horoscope writer for an obscure publication. Annie had to compensate by playing the mother role, basically running the house and rearing her brother all on her own.

As a result, Annie's high-strung and paranoid. Everything needs to be spick and span, in every possible way. Her demeanor - once she's gotten over the shock - will be forever stiff, painfully awkward, occasionally twitchy, and intermittently abrasive. She's of the mindset that everything must be solved or fixed, even when there are no problems or messes in the first place. Annie will definitely attempt to take charge (at least of Marnie and her family) and figure out a means of surviving. (Again, once she's moved on from her anxiety/asthma attack. This asthmatic needs her inhaler every three minutes.)

Pretty volatile, this one. There's no telling when her reaction will be to blow up or seethe in a corner. But she will be determined enough to pull through. Maybe.

Skills-wise, she's an on-off vegetarian and a botany-enthusiast, so she'll probably be decent with ID-ing edible plants and concocting tasteful salads. She's gone camping occasionally (and hated it), so she'll have a few camping facts. Ultimately useless camping facts. That she will voice out anyway. Just to drive home a point.

At the airport, she was giddy and restless. She probably kept fixing her brother's clothes and smoothing out imaginary wrinkles. On the plane itself, she was with her brother and mother. She didn't sleep. And she screamed all the way through the crash.

And here is a Kaoru! He is similar to someone who looks like him but not quite.

Kaoru is a Berkeley college student in the Integrated Biology program, with a focus on plant ecology. He was on his way to a two-week field school in Australia in order to get hands-on research for his senior thesis, and is split between bemoaning his luck on being stuck on an island and going well this will make for an awesome start to a thesis once we get the hell off.

He has a lot of theoretical knowledge, but very little practical experience. Even his camping, which he has done a bit of, has been camping with the ability to check his email on his phone whenever he felt like it. So he'll know the theory on how to use tarps to get drinking water out of ocean water thanks to Voyage of the Mimi, which he saw when he was seven or something, but absolutely no idea how it actually works in practice and will spend many, many hours trying to figure it out (and potentially failing horribly).

Kaoru also likes to poke at people to see reactions, although he'll do his best to keep that down while survival is at stake, and is at his best playing the role of the peanut gallery. If he has to take charge to some degree, he will, but he will be just as/far more happy following someone who knows wtf they're doing.

This has also been the worst week for him, because he's had to deal with scheduling drama and loan drama for the field school, was dumped by his girlfriend, nearly missed his flight to Australia because he was hungover and only managed to make it because his twin called him, and is now stuck on an island wearing his Oscar the Grouch pajamas pants.

This is Marnie! Most of you guys know her already and, while she might act very differently in this setting, she's still the same character deep down.

Marnie is a British actress who's been working in L.A. for the past several months on a SyFy fantasy series, Arcanus. (No, it's not like Game of Thrones.) Once the series went into post-production, she agreed to go on a book tour with one of her producers, Ms. Cook. They start their journey in Sydney, or, well, they would have.

Polite and cheerful, Marnie might seem like the perfect little ingenue, but she's just good at suppressing her true feelings. She'll espouse working as a community, respecting one another, keeping a stiff upper lip, but if you catch her when she thinks no one is watching, you'll see how unstable she really is.

Between projects, she takes care of her elder brother. Her parents are so very proud of Marnie, but treat Allen no better than a stray animal they'd taken in on a whim. The number one reason she's desperate to get off this island, more than her career, more than Ms. Cook's, is the desire to keep her brother from breaking down with worry.

She's got a handful of somewhat useful skills. She's nimble, coordinated and has an excellent memory. Her singing voice is quite nice as well, but what's that worth? Still, Marnie loves to entertain. Ask her for a song or a monolog and she'll probably try to organize a choir or a play.

tl;dr: Marnie is repressed, overly sweet, a caretaker, talented, and a ticking time-bomb.

Hey dudes, it's a Mari!

Mari is older, wiser and less horribly traumatised than in GH and as such she's less self-destructive, kinder, and not as likely to betray everyone she meets. Or kill people. She's still a dick, though.

While there are still people she attaches herself to like crazy, she's mostly very casual and laid-back about most of her relationships. She's also hella thick skinned and assumes everyone else is too. Just tell her you're upset and she'll apologise, what's the big deal?

As for skills she's brought to the island, she's a medical student (although that's been put on hold recently) and a first aider in St. John's Ambulance service. She can also do some sewing and cooking.

While she occasionally makes references to TV, she almost never uses the internet. No big deal, her brother is some big shot investor in social networking sites and seeing his name everywhere pisses her off. Also her voice is naturally veerrry soft so it's usually a surprise when she drops five f-bombs in one sentence.

In the airport you might have seen her and her brother having the most awkward pre-flight goodbye ever. On the plane, she was probably sleeping, tbh. If you were sitting next to her, she might have had her head on your shoulder. Delicious personal space.

Alfred is a stoic, grouchy dude! He's also had a very boring, very average life. Not gonna lie, when the plane went down and his life flashed before his eyes, it was very quick and full of failure.

He's got a degree in English lit so in an emergency he can tell you just how rad the Modernists were (super rad). However, he's also something of a handy-man, so he can give people some help as far as that goes!

Emotions make Alfred uncomfortable. He doesn't really complain, but he likes to gtfo if someone starts crying. He doesn't understand it. If there's loads of panicking going on, he'll be over in the corner, looking awkward.

At the moment, he's carrying three books, two chocolate bars, some clothes, a lamp and a camera. This is the worst holiday. >(

In the airport lounge you would have seen him sitting off to himself, reading, looking uncomfortable whenever someone sat too close.

In the plane, if anyone was sitting next to him, he would have looked incredibly uncomfortable, drawing in his elbows and trying to watch tv or read his book without taking up any space.
